Returning to Work? Know Your Worth.

I spoke to a lot of women in last few weeks and realized we all somewhere feel the same. Stepping back into the workplace after a break can be daunting. It’s natural to feel a bit rusty or question your skills. But here’s a crucial reminder:

⭐ You don’t have to prove your worth all over again!!!

That’s imposter syndrome rearing its ugly head, whispering those “what ifs” and “I’m not good enoughs.”

You are valuable. Your skills, experience, and unique perspective haven’t disappeared. In fact, they’ve likely grown and evolved during your time away.
Instead of focusing on proving yourself, focus on reconnecting with your strengths, re-engaging with your network, and re-establishing your presence.

Here are a few tips for a confident return:

✍ Refresh your skills: Take some time to update your knowledge and familiarize yourself with any new developments in your field.

👭 Reconnect or build your network: Reach out to colleagues, mentors, and industry connections to re-establish relationships.

🖌️ Embrace your unique perspective: Your experiences outside of work have likely given you new insights and skills that are valuable to your employer.

Remember, you have a lot to offer. Don’t underestimate your abilities or let self-doubt hold you back. Step back into the workplace with confidence and own your worth!
