Shivi Agarwal, founder of Alpha Mothers

Hi, I'm Shivi, founder, working mom, and I get it.

Your brain never stops. Even when you're "resting."

The mental tabs are always open. The worry loop never ends. You're exhausted but can't sleep. You have help but still feel alone.

I'm building an AI that finally understands the invisible load you carry.

I built this because I needed it.

I'm currently on maternity leave, and let me tell you, the mental load is real. Even when I'm supposed to be "off," my brain is running a constant background process: tracking feeds, worrying about milestones, managing the household, and already thinking about what returning to work will look like.

Millennial moms are different. We're career-driven, ambitious, and we built lives we're proud of. But motherhood didn't come with a pause button. We're caught between two worlds: careers that were designed for people without caregiving responsibilities, and wanting to be fully present for our children during the most precious (and exhausting) moments of their lives.

The mental load isn't about being organized enough or trying harder. It's about needing real support, someone (or something) that can carry some of it with you.

That's why I'm building Alpha Mothers.

Community-driven

Built by a mom. Shaped by mothers.

AlphaMa isn't built in a boardroom. Every feature comes from a real conversation with a real mother. You can request features, report what's broken, and shape what gets built next. This is your app.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is AlphaMa?

AlphaMa is an AI-powered life partner designed specifically for mothers. It combines emotional support with the efficiency of an executive assistant, all through natural voice conversations. AlphaMa captures your mental load, triages your inbox, plans your day, coordinates with your partner, and provides emotional support whenever you need it.

What is the mental load and why does it matter?

The mental load refers to the invisible cognitive and emotional labor involved in managing a household and family. It's not just the tasks themselves, but remembering, planning, coordinating, and anticipating everything for everyone. Studies show mothers carry a disproportionate share of this burden, leading to burnout, anxiety, and reduced career progression. AlphaMa helps by becoming your AI partner to share this load.

How is AlphaMa different from other productivity apps?

Unlike traditional productivity apps that just add more to manage, AlphaMa is a voice-first AI that actually reduces your cognitive burden. It combines emotional support, practical task management (like an executive assistant), and family coordination (like a household manager). You talk naturally, and AlphaMa captures, organizes, and takes action on your behalf.

Who is AlphaMa for?

AlphaMa is for any mother who feels overwhelmed by the mental load, whether you're a working professional, on maternity leave, returning to work, or managing a household. It particularly resonates with career-driven millennial mothers who are raising Gen Alpha children and want support navigating modern motherhood without sacrificing their ambitions.
