Alpha Mothers ("we," "us," or "our") operates the AlphaMa mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our App.
By using AlphaMa, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect

1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: App compatibility and crash reporting
- Usage Data: Understanding which features are used to improve the App
- Location Data: Providing location-relevant suggestions (only when you grant permission)
1.3 Information About Children
AlphaMa collects information FROM adult users (parents) ABOUT their children (names and ages) to personalize the experience. We do NOT collect information directly from children. AlphaMa is not directed at children under 13, and children should not use the App. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features
- Power AI chat conversations (messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses)
- Power voice features (audio is sent to OpenAI's API for transcription and speech synthesis)
- Personalize your experience by remembering your family, schedule, and preferences
- Integrate with Google Calendar and Gmail when you choose to connect them
- Enable partner task delegation via WhatsApp
- Send you relevant notifications (with your permission)
- Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the App
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We share your data with the following third-party processors, each for a specific, limited purpose:

We do NOT sell your personal information to anyone.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
- Chat messages and AI memory: Stored in your account as long as it is active. You can clear all AI memory and conversation history at any time from the Profile screen.
- Voice recordings: Sent to OpenAI for real-time transcription and NOT stored by us after processing.
- Account data: Retained until you delete your account.
- Account deletion: You can delete your account from the App's Settings. Upon deletion, we will delete all your personal data from our servers within 30 days. Data already sent to third-party APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) is subject to their respective retention policies.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all data sent to our servers and third-party APIs
- Firebase Authentication with industry-standard security
- No storage of raw voice recordings on our servers
- No storage of passwords (we use OAuth / Sign in with Apple)
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (available directly in the App via "Delete Account").
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
- Opt-Out: Disconnect any integrated service (Google Calendar, Gmail) at any time from Settings.
- Withdraw Consent: You can stop using AI features at any time. Clearing your data removes stored conversations and memories.
7. California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
- Right to Know: Request details about the categories of personal information we collect and the third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do NOT sell your personal information.
- Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
8. European Residents (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for processing your data is:
- Consent: For AI data processing, location access, and optional integrations.
- Legitimate Interest: For providing and improving the App's core functionality.
- Contract: For providing the services you have signed up for.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
